Growing up near New Orleans, Lisa's love for design started very early in life. She enjoyed visiting historic homes &  building family homes with her parents. Lisa loved every aspect of the design process, from sketching floor plans to selecting fabrics for pillows.

After high school, it was an easy decision for Lisa to choose the interior design path. She was determined to become a residential interior designer and enrolled at Baylor University. After graduation, she worked at an architectural design firm in Dallas. Later, she moved to California to work under a talented Bay Area designer and further her career. During her time in California, she discovered her love for remodeling. She spent nearly two decades in the Design/Build industry learning about kitchen & bath design, new construction, and remodeling. During this time Lisa met Gemma, and together they formed C&C. Lisa is grateful for her experience in Design/Build & for the opportunity to bring her designs to life through construction.

Gemma has always had a passion for design and art in various forms, ranging from drawing and sewing to fashion and painting. During her school years, she enjoyed art classes the most but was unsure of what career path to take. After high school, she met a talented designer who took her to the SF Design Center, where she fell in love with design and has been pursuing it ever since.

She spent the first seven years of her design career working at a Design/Build firm in Mountain View while also studying for her design degree at San Jose State. After gaining expertise in design, building, and interiors, she was ready for a new challenge. She met Lisa at her next Design/Build company in Campbell, and they worked together for the next ten years. This gave her the opportunity to design larger projects and expand her knowledge of building and remodeling. Gemma is grateful for the opportunity of meeting Lisa, and to later build C&C Designs together!

Holly was mentored by and has worked with Gemma and Lisa for over 10 years. She studied interior design in college and has been using her skills and knowledge to create beautiful and functional spaces ever since.

Her passion for interior design started at a young age and has developed into a full-blown love affair! Holly feels that “there’s nothing better on a project than when the relationship between designer and client really melds.  Being able to deliver beautifully transformed and functional spaces will never be anything short of pure satisfaction.”

Her favorite part of design is working through schematic planning and material selections. She loves to define the big picture and find all the special pieces to really bring it to life.
